I've been told about a wire device inserted. Under skin that's a magnetic source to help prevent a seizure or help one your having one
I've got a VNS(vagal nerve stimulator) and which might be the one your talking about because the wire stimulates the nerve and a magnet will jumpstart it if you have an aura or seizure. I explain it as a reverse pacemaker that kicks at intervals checking but the magnet will crack the whip if you have an aura or get you back to normal quicker during or after the seizure
