Seizure Watch

Does anyone have a seizure watch or similar technology they wear that can detect a seizure pending or started and send a message to a loved one or emergency services?

My Dog does the same thing. She knows even when My body is sending out warnings before a seizure and she will sit in my lap and not let me move for awhile . But she was so accurate before I went into remission. She isn’t trained either.

My epileptologist asked me to be a part of a study for the Embrace watch during my last inpatient VEEG. He wanted to do an extensive study on them before he would recommend them to patients. I agreed of course. For ME, it did not work well. I had 4 severe grand mal seizures back to back 1 hour apart. The Embrace watch only captured ONE of the four seizures. The reason? Well, I don’t always convulse...sometimes my arms go rigid and with these watches, you need to actually be shaking. You can adjust and stem for the amount of time and convulsions you have, but a bent, rigid arm will not record. So, while my seizures were severe and unconscious, the watch only captured one. End decision was, he was not impressed and would not endorse the Embrace watch. Apple has an app I believe and he said that wouldn’t work for me either most likely.

there is a seizure watch called 'Embrace'. i think its $200 us. i think the new iwatches have a seizure app but i am not sure about that. i think the other companies are getting there own version of the seizure watch this year or next year. but until that happens the 'embrace' seizure watch is the way to go.
the embrace seizure watch is a fitbit charge style watch that alerts you if your heart rate is too high and something else.
i have a fitbit charge 2 that has my heart rate and gps in it.

I dont, however, i would certainly love one. My dog who is not, nor has she ever been trained, seemes to know. She gets right next to me and puts her head in my lap, on my neck, and sometimes at my feet and just looks really sad . When I come to she is licking my face and whining. I love her

Thank you all for you responses. Sounds like the technology is still in its infancy.
