Does A Structured Or Unstructured Day Help Keep You Relatively Healthy?
A flexibly structured day helps keep me seizure free. No chaos! 4x6 cards help with the specifics, like “To Do” and grocery lists.
When my life was more stable/events were planned my life was better. That was when I was in college, I had a date book that had information on each page, telling myself what needed to be done that day. Ex a Dr.s appt,, when an essay was expected to be finished and given to a professor. Personally my life was better when I was not given less help. I don’t have that now and need it back. Don’t let it get taken away from You.
Structure is always best. I might be having a bad day, but I fake it until I make it. I have catch phases that I live by "make the most of every day, too blessed to be stressed, everyday is a good day as long as you make it that way. Positive thinking definitely keeps seizures at bay
Love the ideas with the index cards. Also allows you to rearrange or move to the next day and not feel bad about not getting the task done when previously scheduled.
For myself I need a fluid but somewhat structured day. It helps me reduce the stress.
Often when I actually write down the things that I want to get accomplished daily, it makes it easier. Otherwise, like today, the one thing I did forget was to pick up my Rx. Ended up they don’t have it and I am going to have to have the doctor call it in to another pharmacy to get it done.
