When I was considering the surgery, I was told the risks included I could lose my memory, my whole right side could have been paralyzed or I could have been a vegetable. One of my biggest concerns was memory because I'm a musician and I played clarinet and saxophone in church and had a lot of the songs memorized. Before the surgery , a Wada test, which checks memory, was done, and they found I was missing 80% on the side they were operating on. I am currently getting back into playing at hymn sings at my church.

Wow uhm, I lost count of how many I've had over the years. What I do know is that my first seizure was when I was 6 years old and so on.

It is right smack in the middle of my head, on the left as well as the right. If that were to ever be touched with a knife, or whatever they use today, I would be a vegetable.
