That's what I take. I haven't noticed any side effects while taking it and I have been on it awhile now!

In my case when i took it as a kid, it gave a continuous rash. The usual dizziness, drowsiness and uncontrollable shaking of the body.

In my case I almost had liver issues then had to come off it. It is a good med. But after a long time (25 years + depending on age) you would likely have to change.

Every person is different when taking medication, my best suggestion is to speak with your doctor. When I had taken it the medication at the age of 14 it worked for at least 15 years (guesstimate) without any side effects. We did add other medications into the mix as I grew older because it was safer to do such a thing. All I can really say about the medication is the length of time I was on it and that I had no problem of the low dosage I was on.
