Do you think that there's a link between allergies and seizures?
Because I have noticed that almost every seizure my sister had was when the weather got colder.
Some people may have more seizures in on season over ther other . Whether change itself can trigger seizures to some people.
@A MyEpilepsyTeam Member , There is absolutely no harm if @A MyEpilepsyTeam Member wants to get other people’s opinions about this subject or any other subject for that matter. That’s one thing about this site. If they are looking for advice or have questions or looking for information, then we can try to help provide what we can. I’m finding these new AI generated responses very interesting & helpful for myself & I’m sure it’s helpful for those who don’t always get an answer to their questions but at least they’ll have some info to start with.
I appreciate the questions asked by this community. Sometimes the questions asked can be a good reminder moment and can then ask my doctor about it.
@A MyEpilepsyTeam Member A Neurologist can give more specialized information but, in most cases, a Dr can't. They can only look at what they have and pass it on. The only way a dr can give more specialized information is if you are on a care plan, they are experienced with epilepsy or the Dr you see is also in contact with you Neurologist.
Ofcourse we would consult a doctor, but I believe there is no harm in knowing about other opinions and similar experiences
