How Do You Handle Music Triggers?
This is my first Christmas service I'll miss in my lifetime since there will be a live band. Which makes me so furious since I'm a musician and used to play in the band. Now I can't even be around music without going into a seizure. I've been crying each night this past week. To be safe, I have to watch it live via the link on Facebook. I use earplugs, but I can only last 5 minutes max like in a JCP store setting because the background music triggers me. Can't do theatre or movies anymore… read more

Emergency Rescue Meds
Does anyone have “emergency rescue meds”:that they don’t get to in time? I must’ve felt a seizure coming on yesterday, I took one out of the package. saw it on the table later.

Auras
I was wondering if anyone can describe what their aura feels like. I find it so difficult to put into words. When I was on the bus I just got that feeling. That's what I've called it since I was a child, a feeling as I didn't know what it was and I didn't tell anyone. I Have Tonic-clonic Seizures, But This Week I Had Something I Call 'brain Farts' That Got More Frequent Ending With T-c. Thoughts?
I have hade epilepsy for 40+ years, so I am used to seizures, but this brain twitching thing is new. It lasted for about 24 hours, even my hubby couldnt tell. But I had a hard time answering questions.

Around The Holidays, Does Anybody Else Get Sad When 1 Relative Gives A Big Present To Someone When You Don’t Have The Money And Can’t Work?

Nocturnal Seizures! Basically Seizures In Your Sleep, I Would Mostly Have One Right After I Fall Asleep Or Early In The Morning.
Then, sleepwalking after I have a seizure.
Is anyone out there who has had them before and has been successfully treated for them or perhaps someone who is taking any kind of medications that has been useful to a certain extent because I’m taking 3 different medications and I’m still having the same problem.

Cognitive Decline
Has anyone experienced cognitive decline due to your epilepsy? I definitely have, proven last december. But i feel it getting worse. Im just curious who else deals with this because it can be rather frustrating

Do I Have To Comfortable Just Seating Home Like A Child Because Of My Epilepsy?
I feel useless just seating home even if I'm told not to worry and that I'm still young. This is the time I have to learn how to make my own cash while am a youth. I can't ask my dad cash to take a girl out, or ask cash for snacks always.
