Dr. Andrew Funk has held board certification in neurology with the American Chiropractic Neurology Board since 2015. He completed his internship and studies in neurology with the Carrick Institute of Clinical Neurology, acquiring subspecialty training in both traumatic brain injury and neuro-ophthalmology. Dr. Funk has three published abstracts in the peer-reviewed literature as a result of his work in the field of neurological rehabilitation.
As a chiropractic neurologist, Dr. Funk has specialized in improving function and quality of life for patients suffering from various neurological conditions such as traumatic brain injury, vertigo, developmental disorders, stroke, movement disorders, dysautonomia, Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis, migraine, and pain syndromes.
He received his doctorate in chiropractic from Life University, graduating summa cum laude and as class salutatorian. While at Life University, he was awarded the Contemporary Scientific Paradigms accolade by his graduating class. He also served as vice president of the Life University Neurology Club and president of the Advanced Neurology Club on campus. He was honored with the James L. Duffy Award for his service and contribution to both neurology clubs.
