Barometric Pressure

A MyEpilepsyTeam Member asked a question 💭
Dallas, TX

Is anyone else highly sensitive to barometric pressure fluctuations? I have found my seizures and migraines to be consistent with rising and falling pressure, especially with incoming storm systems.

@A MyEpilepsyTeam Member I’m now living in Dallas but I certainly see the craziness of Cypress and Houston weather has not changed one bit. Hang in there.

My son has “predicted” every hurricane or snow storm over the past three years, and we have had way too many this year. I put a barometric pressure app on my phone! I also give him more rest and omega 3’s help a lot. Best of luck to you!

Austin, it's been raining a lot here (earlier this week). I've had a migraine every day and had 5 seizures by Wednesday. 5 is my average per month.

The pressure changes trigger a migraine every time but don't always trigger a seizure for me.
