Do Anyone's Eyes Flicker Quickly From Side To Side Sometimes?

A MyEpilepsyTeam Member asked a question 💭
San Diego, CA

It seems to happen if I've been working on something for awhile. That's mainly why I'm not sure if they would be just something with my eyes or if it is a different kind of simple partial sensory seizure than what I'm used to, .
But my eye's will start to shake back and form from side to side quickly, to where I cannot focus on whatever I was doing. I'd say it happens for anywhere from 15-30 seconds. I just wanted to know if it happens to anyone else.

Thank you so much @A MyEpilepsyTeam Member; I will look into nystagmus. And @A MyEpilepsyTeam Member, that is similar to what I was thinking and was scared of; however, in the past few years that it's happened, those eye twitches have not turned into a different seizure for myself.

I thank you all so much! Nystagmus can be a side effect from any of the three medications I'm on. I never knew what it was called.

For me it is my eye lids go half way down and start to flutter for a few seconds. Don't know if it some kind of seizure or what.
