Have anyone taken this medicine or is on it.
What are side effects and how did you cope with it. Does the med work. Any information.

Afternoon... 300mg epilm

Balance was a big problem for me, couldn't walk in a straight line and was bumping into things, also everyone said I sounded as if I was drunk, I was aware that I sounded different but no matter how hard I tried I couldn't speak properly, I was take of them by reducing 1a week after I fell against my patio door, I was home on my own and could of gone through it and no one would know. Within 2/3 weeks of being off them the difference was amazing it had taken 10 weeks for bad effects to appear. I've now been taken off Fycompa for similar effects. Hope things settle down soon.x

I been on it for about a year. I take the 24hr pill before bed. I sleep good. No more nocturnal seizures. Less getting up at night to pee and waking up on the bathroom floor. Less seizures all around. I take tegretal too to keep focal seizures away while I'm awake. I'd say 85% seizure free.

Hi I took it a few years ago, improved the epilepsy but also some very bad side effects! Acted like a slimming pill and I could hardly eat, therefor ended up looking like an anorexic....and also caused terrible depression, leading to me taking an overdose!! Please go easy on this drug, although saying that it may be the right one for you☺good luck, Lisa x
