Loss Of Memory
Has anyone ever realized they loss their memory over something very important. The reason I asked is because earlier today, my hubby an I were looking through important papers an I bumped into some of my old medical records so I started reading them. My memory is so bad and I blame my meds. I even hate taking my meds because i know how badly its affecting my memory and I'm only 25 years old.
I forget everything too. Even if someone just tells me something like if were having a conversation; a couple minutes later I will forget it. So thats why like with my neurologist, they know to write everything down for me or I will forget what the instructions are before I get out the door. Things like that. Im a ness at home too. I write everything down too. My husband tells me one thing and i forget or have to have him repeat it.
We all have something and it is importune to remember that our memory's are going to go and when they do there is nothing we can do about it except eternize the brail.
I've had epilepsy all my life. And have forgotten a lot about the past. Going through my first video eeg I met a new neurologist who took the time to ask me questions about my past that I could not answer I had to ask my mom. I learned a lot about myself that week.
My memory is definitely not what it used to be. I blame it on medications and sometimes even from seizures. I also find keeping notes, journals and lots of post-its around helpful. I'm 59, post menopausal and people like to blame memory loss on getting older. I'm just not convinced it's from that as much as epilepsy and meds.
