Depression
Does anyone have severe bouts with depression? I've been diagnosed bi-polar and sometimes I get downright suicidal, especially since being denied disability again.
I've attempted suicide a lot (I've lost count), but as soon as I stopped being around all the people who thought it was/is rude, mean, evil, etc. about me having seizures. I stopped wanting to die and thought you know what if I try and actually wanting to live, but just not around them.
I have also find it helpful to regularly connect with likeminded people who understand me and what I am going through. For my Depression I go to a group called GROW which is based on the 12 step program. Maybe there is one near you? For my Epilepsy I have in the past when I lived in other states in Australia I attend a Epilepsy support group. In Adelaide though there does not seem too be one as yet but maybe you could see if their is one near you.
Getting rid of the toxic relationships in your life definitely helps.

@A MyEpilepsyTeam Member it may be a good idea to see your specialist and mention to them that you have been feeling suicidal. As some anticonvulsants do have the side effects of making you depressed.
