Can someone please explain to me after having seizures for 30 years my most recent eeg came back with no abnormalities. Strange.

I've had several eeg's throughout my 25 years of being epileptic. Only 6 or 7 of those eeg's have ever shown anything. The first one was just a little spike. The other ones have shown activity, but I wasn't actually having a seizure. The last one I had was a 48 hour eeg at my house after two weeks of being on a new medication. It did show three spikes, but nothing else.

Are you still having seizures ? When was your last seizure ? What prescriptions are you taking ? Because if your prescriptions are working so well that your EEG turned out great no seizures , then i will have what your having let lol i just want a prescription that will stop my grand mal seizures and drop seizures and petty mal seizures lately mostly drop seizures and i already have sprained knee sprained finger my balance is off , not doing well here so my neurologist doctor is ordered a prolonged EEG test it could be up to 5-7 days admitted into the EEG laboratory
