I Have Questions That Hopefully Some Of You.

What is the difference between an aura and a petit seizure. When I have an aura in which can last for hours I feel like a riot is going on inside me. People have told me to say something. I don't always have a seizure. I don't want to be the boy that cried wolf all the time.
Thank you everyone for your patience with me. I am new on this on line and I don't know what I'm doing all the time.
Hope and pray everyone has a great day.

an aura is you are going to have a seizure. petit seizures are the beginning of a seizure. it is like auras are getting ready for a boxing match and petit is the beginning of the first round.

I don’t have Auras but , I have a friend who experiences aurs. From what I understand aurs , are some type of sensation . Sensing things like a taste of metal in your mouth, hearing music that isn’t there , hearing someone’s voice that’s not there and ect.

Peti Mals are a very mild seizure the invovles a sudden lapses of consciousness. They person may look 👀 like he/she are in a blanks stare. The absences last for a short few seconds.

I had seizures for over 40 years, but had surgery and have been seizure free for two years. Aura was always the hardest thing to explain to the doctors! a "stomach feeling", like "I've been here before.....or done this before"
sort of a "deja vu" feeling. Thats the only way i knew to define it! was not always followed by a seizure.

In an aura, you're still aware of your surroundings and don't lose memory of what was going on. Mine feel like deja vu, or a sense of fear or panic, and I smell pepper.
If a seizure follows, I won't remember anything that happened after the aura.
