We had medication with me but going to Egypt I needed a note from my Dr. What I was taking for my seizures!
Travel guide for insurance
Turns out that we needed it due to flight/airline issues. A bit of a job (for my husband) to put in the claim, but he held on to all of the printed out itineraries (as they changed a couple of times during the process) and boarding passes. And the hotel (room and meals) receipts. Well worth it and the check came pretty quickly after he sent it in.
I get insurance for most of my trips, directly with the airline. Very wise and cautious about what you are doing with your friends. I’m usually right in the states for a few weeks. First thing I do is look or ask for the nearest hospital incase of emergency, since my seizures are very often and intense. Enjoy your time and try to keep your mind off everything else. Stay calm and if need be, grab an umbrella or cap for less sun directed at your head. Some meds and sun, don’t mix well. 😉❤️
Thanks Carina. I'll talk with him about it. I can't tolerate any more than I'm already taking. In fact, may need to cut back a little. Today's the first day I've felt good in a 4 days. I just feel kind of toxic from it for a few days at a time. So hard to know if it's toxicity or if it's some new kind of seizure. Scary either way.
