Get an attorney because I heard that SS and dissabilty is almost always turned down the first time. I am just now applying for my son who can’t work or drive or go into a loud restaurant. So we will see if he is egible for SS and dissability.

Are you going SSDI right away ? If you are, you might want to try SSI first.

Another thing . When applying for this you need a lot of documentation from any Dr. who knows about your Epilepsy. Even make an appt .and talk to your Dr. yourself, about this.

A way to get help is if your neurologist puts on the papers that seizures happen but you don't know when & then stress is a major problem. I know stress is for me & right away I was approved.

ssi is pick. our seizures are random and the ssi people want to see this seizures right away. just apply again and again. if you want get a disability lawyer.

did you know when having a seizure (or recovery from a seizure), your blood pressure (hypertension) and/or heart rate goes way up? well it happens for me sometimes. sometimes my heart rate and blood stays way high after and i have to deep breath and calm myself down. could it be a connection with seizures and hypertension?

I advice you to keep on fighting with the disability if you need get a lawyer.
