Even though a lot of kids may grow out of Peti Mal seizures, doesn’t mean that everyone does. I’m in my 40s and I still have petiMal seizures. I go into a blank stare or look like I’m in another world. I also have blurs , double visions, and black outs. Peti Mals can be very hard to detect unless you know what to look for.

I believe that auras run in this category.

How do they treat them

Petit mal seizures are absent seizures where the person seems distracted, but is having a seizure that doesn’t cause convulsions. A lot of children have them and grow out of them, my sister used to have 100-200 a day. She grew out of them. I have grand mal seizures that will never go away.
