Keppra
I was on keppra years ago and it almost ruined my life and killed me. My new neurologist who's alot more knowledgable and caring asked if I'd try brivaracetam, he mentioned it was very similar to or basically like a new keppra just no Genaric name out where I'm from. I understand these drugs work for some but I've researched most people who've taken it have had horrible side… read more
I was the same with Keppra my family thought my doctor was prescribing me a pill that contained a demon. Plus it didn’t even work. The second I stopped taking it I was back to my normal happy self, still had seizures but at least I wasn’t trying to kill everyone I came in contact with.
Sorry to hear about your experience with Keppra. @A MyEpilepsyTeam Member.
Out of the five meds I’m on , one of them is Keppra. At the beginning I got upset easily. It didn’t take long for my body to adapt to the side effects and I was back to my normal self. I think a lot has to do with the multiple of meds I take. So I wasn’t effected for a long time.
what will trigger me is having sugar first thing in the morning. Like donuts.
Thanks @A MyEpilepsyTeam Member . It's in the past now so w.e. personally I wouldn't recommend it also due to heavy liver issues but hey if it works it works!
I'm here in Canada my friend. Still wont. 300 $a month next month 375$.
