I sense a really bad smell every once in awhile. One day I was walking with someone and made a comment about “ that horrible smell” on our walk. The person was bewildered. I was the only one smelling it. I had smelled that same smell before. I asked my doctor. He said I should research “simple partial and focal seizures” in the internet, bc he had nothing to give me to explain it, but that if I was the only one, it could be a type of focal seizure.
I dug around the web, and sure enough it is. Now I ALWAYS ASK Anyone near me,”Do you smell that?” Bc in my case simple partial/ focal/ seizures/ auras ALWAYS precede a grand mal.

Deja vu with a metallic taste. A feeling of extreme anxiety would come over me.
