Drugs That Focus On Neurotransmitter In The Brain.
Is anyone taking a anti-epileptic drug that focuses on neurotransmitters in the brain as thier one of the main pathways that calm electrical activity in the brain. Or any drugs that just focus primarily on neurotransmitters.
cbd. cbd interacts with the serotonin 1A receptor as an agonist in these key brain areas, which is likely a cause of its anxiolytic and anti-depressant effects. in simple terms, it will relax the stress, anxiety, and depression receptors (with other stuff).

All AED meds work on the many pathways of the brain. That how they help control the seizures.
@A MyEpilepsyTeam Member i take only cbd because of my state law. state law state no thc of any kind (for now). thc has more power but the reactions are questionable (high feeling). cbd has lower strength then thc but it doesn't have that 'high feeling'.
i am sorta a researcher on this med and alternative med stuff. cbd works for me.
@A MyEpilepsyTeam Member. I used CBD oil for awhile a few years ago and had some success with it and after awhile while while taking it and doing more research and consulting to actually get more from it my dosage would have to be 500 mg 2 times. daily and a ratio of more THC to CBD would work best for me. So now to control my seizures wich are now primarily nocturnal and small my last grand mal sezuire was 20+ years ago so I relay on medical [ [treatment:marijuana:5526d0531fcaa353cc0029f5]].
