Do You Think We Would Qualify?
My neuro told me that Epilepsy is not a qualifying condition, but NY State released the list of who would qualify next. It says:
Beginning February 15, 2021:
Adult New Yorkers of any age with the following conditions qualify for the vaccine:
"Neurologic conditions including but not limited to Alzheimer's Disease or dementia"

Stac, that’s what I had the Pfizer and I had the same thing, just a little soreness, kinda like the bee sting or tetanus shot. I get the 2nd one at the end of this month.
I have now had both shots and no side effects from either of them, but that is the same every year when I get the flu shot as well, so I was not surprised.
Just saw your post about being "eligible for the vaccine." Don't know how they do it in NY but the way we ended up finding vaccintion suppliers was just calling around. The AZ state website and county websites and insurance providers didn't help much at all but when I called different pharnacies I found one of our grocery store chains (Albertson's) that was offering them and glad to sign me up as long as I was qualified.
Getting my second Moderna shot in 8 days but I still rarely go out and am double masking now and carry a small spray bottle of alcohol when I do. So far I'm impressed how Gov. Coumo is doing out there. Hope you get a shot soon and have a wonderful seizure free weekend.
At Kristyn126, I didn’t have to get tested covid to get my shots? I had gotten the Pfizer at Walgreens
Still waiting for my 2nd. My husband has had his 2nd and been as fit as a fiddle (excuse the pun).
