I've been on anti-eptiliptic drugs since I was 5 and I've pretty much lost all my back teeth the top and bottom from all the anti-eptiliptic drugs that have been given to me due to the eroding of the enamel on my teeth and making them brittle

To everyone on this Q+A , Dilantin is a horrible med , for rotting teeth.

You’ve been on meds for almost as long as me. I’ve been on them since 1975 . I’ve been on the majority of them. Many of the ones I haven’t been on, are the generic of some and Vice versa with the brands .

I also took Dilantin while taking the phenobarbital. My Dr and dentist didn't say anything about the Dilantin.

I have only 8 whole teeth left and there broken ones and the rest are broke of at the gym line and it is due to the Dilantin I took for 22 years I took myself off all meds in 2014 cause it didn't help me at all!!!
