Annie it doesn't detect the Type but does detect seizures (well I'm not sure about absent seizures) and calls the person you have entered to contact in case of a seizure. It's fantastic!

As long as I have my cell phone beside me or in my pocket it doesn't disconnect. But if I go to another room without my cell phone it does disconnect. Have to reconnect it once I come back into the room.
I can't help with the Reports. I didn't sign up for that part. Thru trial and error we have figured out what activities trigger the watch. Ex vacuuming, drumming. Answering the questions it asks after a false alarm helps the watch adjust its detection.
I can confirm it does a perfect job of detecting seizures. It called my husband right away each time and he came to the rescue.
Keep working with it. It has given my husband such a relief. He doesn't jump at every small sound coming from my location anymore. So if nothing else its worth its weight in gold in that sense.

I would like to know if is a good tool, and if it work as good as the company says.
because we have noticed that it loses connection even when close to the cell phone.
I chose the three caregivers plan and added the reports. Is the information in the reports valuable?

Annie
Have to have a perscription from doctor to get one.
There are some insurances that will help cover the cost.
