I Do Not How Many Of Us Get Frequent Flurries?

They come on suddenly I cannot talk right ,my vision goes blurry , I try to ignore it, when more problems occur when I don’t recognize things. I let it ride. Ex. My husband asked me a question, I couldn’t communicate at all. He said to me go to bed!They stop for a few minutes and start the same thing. I took an Ativan to stop it. It lasted an hour! Sounds like an "absence seizure" which is a type of focal seizure. There are a few articles right here (under RESOURCES at the top left of the page) ) that may give you some answers.

Marliee is right I have them.i do also have the granmal ones one comes from one side of my brain the other comes from the other side.i can have one or the other sometimes the trigger the other and tag team me.

They are short seizures when you suddenly become conscious. You have another one. Mine last a minute to 2 minutes ! I am with it. Then starts again. I take Ativan to stop it sometimes doesn’t do it and go to hospital to stop it.

Yes, fatigue triggers mine as well. So sorry you have clusters. Hope your team finds something that helps.

I believe an Absence Seizure is exactly the case here too. I mostly have Focal and Tonic Clonic seizures but Absence ones happen when I am really stressed, and/or super tired. like @A MyEpilepsyTeam Member says, one can perpetuate the other and then you have both. I have rescue medication because my seizures occur in clusters and I'll have one right after another. The medicine is called Nayzilam and it's basically liquid Valium which is administered through the nose as an inhalant. So far, it hasn't failed me once. But it's really difficult to know just what to do after any type of seizures. Solar storms sure do get my brain all flurried...
