Any Ladies On Here Suffer From PMDD (Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder)?

A MyEpilepsyTeam Member asked a question 💭
London, UK

PMDD is a hormone-based mood disorder with symptoms arising during the premenstrual, or luteal phase of the menstrual cycle. It affects an estimated 5.5% of women it is directly connected to the menstrual cycle but it is not a hormone imbalance. PMDD is a severe negative reaction in the brain to the natural rise and fall of estrogen and progesterone 🥺

I’m on antidepressant and birth control pill which isn’t helping much.

I haven't been diagnosed with pmdd either but my seizures are usually around my third cycle. Guess everything in our body is related in some way.
