The moon wouldn’t affect me…. But when I was I was younger ( I’m in menopause now)
and still had my period…if I was going to have a seizure it would always happen around my period!
If I didn’t have a seizure after my period I’d be ok until the next month! Crazy huh! But when I was older they wouldn’t let me take anything for hot flashes etc! That was nasty!🤢 Thank god that’s over! Still have to take meds my VNS has helped tremendously! Going on 3yrs seizure free!

The full moon doesn’t affect me at all. Being overheated can trigger them. Stress is the biggest problem to bring them on.

@A MyEpilepsyTeam Member i will say it once more (et-em)...
you have seasonal epilepsy or weather related epilepsy. remember... seizures are random. for all you know she has nocturnal seizures (sleep seizures) all the time and you don't know cause she only has partial seizures (one side is affected).
that excample is just a made up thing. but i researched it and multable studys show that 'full moon' is changes in weather. and therefore seasonal weather. the full moon is not a type of seizure.

Strong weather systems, like bad thunderstorms in our area or hurricanes along the east coast, can cause me to have auras.
