Do you mean seizures that aren't directly related to the brain? I think they are still classed as seizures but they are PNES related so not epilepsy. The treatment for this is normally very different to an epilepsy seizure. There probably are meds they use but what exactly I'm not sure, I just know that AED meds can make these types of seizures worse and don't help in most cases.

@A MyEpilepsyTeam Member, If you're talking about controlling stress seizures, that begins with the person working on ways to reduce stress. I have to keep stress to a minimum otherwise it might trigger a seizure.
