Connection Between Migraine And Epilepsy
Hello! Does anyone here have migraines that they think are linked to their epilepsy but feel they may have been misdiagnosed. I do not think they are two seperate
Issues. I have an auora, i get a severe migrane, If i cant get it under control it Almost always leads to a seizure inevidebley. If so. What are they doing for you?
Hey, I get migraines constantly and it's usually followed by a nocturnal seizure which I didn't notice until a few months back. I had one last night which eased the pain from the migraine but left me a sore tongue and a clean bed spread to put on.. unless I wanna sleep on a bloody pillow which I don't really wanna. Hope this helps.
After having a seizure that has a very strong feeling they do cause me to have migraine headaches sometimes. Since migraine headaches are painful and have a variety of other side effects my Dr. has given me prescription medication to help end them instead of using anything else.
I no longer get migraines as often, but for most of my life having granmal seizures I would always have the absolute worst migraines in the world. Even my eye balls would hurt
I have had Epilepsy since the age of two and one thing I will say that I am lucky about is the fact of not getting headaches. Also, I don't get migraines linked to my Epilepsy. Some people do get headaches or migraines for having seizures, but everybody's body is different. My body just tenses up with my nerves and so I try to do things to calm myself down.
For myself I don’t have migraines relating to my Epilepsy. I rarely get headaches.
But for the many others , with Epilepsy, Migraines are apart of living with Epilepsy.
