Epilepsy Versus Seizure Disorder

A MyEpilepsyTeam Member asked a question 💭
Pasadena, CA

I've recently been "reclassified" with a seizure disorder instead of epilepsy. Why would that be? I also, I've found out recently I have Lupus as well as Sjogren's. What a heavy burden.

I agree with Sean 2, I look at it like this, I wish we didn't have but do have our conditions, and they'd go away or get better, but I think a seizure is a seizure either way, what is the difference , I'm not a doc, but that is how look at this question here.

There’s no difference between epilepsy and seizure disorder. If you have epilepsy you have a seizure disorder.

Yes I was reclassified too
Ever since my life has been Hell more seizures less care
Can you get a second opinion to make sure?
The will want you to start behavioral therapy
Was the worst thing I ever did.
Made things so much worse.
