That for me I have found that when I try to 'control' them they only worsen. That's the last thing I want.
I have struggled with pnes all my life--I haven't found a way to control it--in fact it has worsened and now I am not allowed to drive or do much at all-yet not considered disabled...hmmm...how exactly is that supposed to work?
As a. EEG tech. Or Neurodiagnostic Tech. . I have had minor injuries w/ people having neuropsch. . seizures and then seen the patient have their real status. Attacks in intensive care units. I think I had them in the ER when I was under extreme stress. They turned into status a few times. I would get the combination. Brother! Being on both sides of the picture. Doing yoga helped me relax! They seem to be under control now. Thank you for sharing!
I think you can, but the treatment is a lot different from the treatments they use for Epilepsy. It's normally done with a NeuroPsych assessment then from there they would work on a treatment plan. If it turns out you have both you may do this as a extra treatment on top of the standard treatments that they use for epilepsy.
