Auras are still considered a form of a seizure.

Yes they are. I spent 4 days in a hospital for a seizure study. Aura activity the dr showed me on an eeg readout was a seizure. The aura preceded my 6 deep seizures (some 10+ minutes) several times. I pressed a button correctly 80% of the time to identify the seizure/aura. Don’t let anyone tell you “you need to deal w anxiety-stress ‘ cause that’s all it is.”
It also showed an aura on one side of brain could trigger the other hemisphere. Dangerous and needs to be treated as such without shame (my 2024 goal )
