Does Your Meds Cause A Slight Prob With Your Teeth, Or Noticed It Starting After Awhile Taking Your Meds?
Losing your teeth, chipped teeth and such etc, or anything else like that.
I was on Dilantin (Phenytoin) for 50 yrs. I had swollen gums which is a side effect of it, just as @A MyEpilepsyTeam Member , I had my gums shaved multiple times. Now that I'm off the Phenytoin my gums have receded & have exposed lower portions of my teeth.
I never had issues w/ chipping teeth. Even w/ calcium supplements I developed severe osteoporosis until I switched to Lamotrigine. Once I was off the Dilantin my bone density returned to normal.
I can relate, I agree with you and your reply.
Just had a tooth pulled, have 2 chipped teeth, and losing my enamel. Unfortunately, all of the vitamin D and magnesium I have already taken over the years has been no help. It's sad 😔. And I was always the girl with the pretty smile.
I Took Dilanin, As Well Ad Many AEDs. I Vaguely Rmember At Least One Being Bad For Gums In The Mouth.
A Neutral One, Having Our Conditions And Such Etc, And The Side Effects Of The Meds We Take That Do Cause Some, Do You Think Your The Same?
Are You Ok With The Pills You Are Taking,or Do They Seem S Little Big Or Uncomfortable Taking?
