Do You Think It’s A Crazy Idea?

Ok , i have been sitting on the idea for a while and was thinking that the pay for speaking isn’t great and doesnt happen every week , more of a Part-Time. I was thinking about why don’t i look for a steady Job as a Interpreter once i’ve got the courses 1-6 certified done since it’s a paid per month job? I don’t know if it’s a silly idea or not??? Opinions please

Let’s hope so , like I say it’s not about money it’s about the knowledge and experience and effect you have on other people’s lives as well as learning on the way. I said to my mum and dad I’m going to try my hardest get as many certificates on my wall as I possibly can and develop for business. Just keep expanding my knowledge and share to the world

Any new trade or profession that you can add to your resumé will greatly help you, in the long run. My dream job would have been to become an English/Spanish court interpreter/translator. I did do a lot of interpreting, which is the spoken form, and translating, the written form, during my work career. I found out about the court interpreting, about 15 years ago. I took a few courses to learn the proper legal terms in Spanish. These classes were very interesting. I passed both the English and Spanish writing test, but not the verbal test, which is extremely difficult. I decided that it would be too stressful of a job, and since I was in my early 50's, and already living a very comfortable life, with my husband and son, so I didn't take the verbal test again.
I would have loved to have had this job, when I was a lot younger, but because of my seizure disorder, it would have been too stressful, being that your dealing with court cases. Had I had my brain surgery, in my 20's or early 30's, I would have been able to perform this job quite well.
