I Have Multiple Seizures Daily. Mainly Focal Aware Seizures,but Many Of Them Over Night. Can They Cause Damage To My Brain?

Normally Focal seizures don't do any extra damage to the brain. They would most likely monitor this long term to confirm this though, but this process is done over a 5ā€“10-year period.

Hi David - My seizures usually come in clusters at night and impact my memory, balance and sense of direction. The side effects from the meds have been very similar. However, Iā€™m now taking Briviact and my cognitive side effects have significantly lessened and my seizures episodes have diminished. Iā€™m feeling pretty good about how this new med is working.
