@A MyEpilepsyTeam Member haven't heard of the Lamotrigine out of all I've been tried on. When 1st on Keppra it didn't help, did go through the side affects. I've been put back on it years later and have none now ... side affects. Hoping if you continue taking in time it will stop. Never hesitate to inform your Dr. letting him/her know how you feel.

@A MyEpilepsyTeam Member, Lamotrigine comes with a lot of side effects such as dizziness, blurred vision, headaches and uncontrollable shaking of the body just to name a few. Keppra gives you aggression, anxiety and unsteady walking. I have taken both of these meds together before and it is a challenge to deal with. I suggest you talk to your neurologist.

@A MyEpilepsyTeam Member , I don’t know if you’re aware of the side effects of Keppra or how long you’ve been on it. Everyone can react differently to different medications but Keppra is known to cause anger issues, make people not act like themselves, all known as the Keppra Rage. It is also known to cause excessive drowsiness or trouble sleeping. In 2019 I took Keppra for 2 months & it made me so tired that I had to take a nap every day & eventually I started having trouble sleeping at night & so I got off it. I don’t know anything about Lamotragine. If you feel uncomfortable with the side effects from your medications, you might let your doctor know. Good luck. Your friend in Texas, Becky

Thanks. I finally got off of it and doctor increased the other. I started having having breakthrough seizures so she added zonisamida. Never heard of it but seems to be working ok
