Rage/ anger is a common, well known side effect of the drug Keppra. I havenā€™t been able to express emotions for years because of my own epilepsy and meds, so I donā€™t know anything about that, but it seems logicalā€¦ I wish you all the best!

My daughter was on Keppra and became unmanageable. The littlest thing would set her of. We spoke to her specialist about this and she was withdrawn from this med and her Topax levels were increased If this is something which you are finding difficult to deal with mention it to your specialist on your next visit. Maybe something can be done to help you

I am really sorry that you are experiencing rage, of all emotions. I do hope there are med adjustments in your very near future that will help you. I am not on same meds nor have I experienced rage after any seizure. I find myself crying uncontrollably and I just have to let it happen until it slows down and finally stops. Only once had I experienced uncontrollable laughter. It has happened at work, evenings while relaxing, through the night while sleeping. There isn't anything that I can do. Once my brain begins to rewire after having a Complex Partial Seizure. Renamed focal seizure but truly for me being the one going through the uniqueness of the particular seizures that I do, they are so much more than just focal. I lose all muscle ability. Brain scrambles. Pass out for a few. Regain consciousness, muscles start to regain strength, brain starts to rewire, uncontrollable waterworks begin and finally end. I'm normal again and now it's time to go wash up (shower preferably), change clothing and get on with my day. Or if nocturnal, I'll be awake the remainder of the night.
