It varies, for example I didn’t even begin having my seizures until after I had gone through puberty. I am post menopause now, but I don’t recall any problems

omg! the heart palpitations are so strange and do cause extra anxiety! I have been getting the hot flashes for about a year now on and off but not really much sweating thankfully. I am so glad that i take the CBT therapies they really do help to remind us of our paterns and how we can help regulate our emotions. My yoga practice and meditation helps loads aswell as taking the herbal teas for hormonal balance. thanks for sharing 💜😊

Sometimes it’s hard and other times a little easier. I’m in the middle of Menopause. I’m thankful that I don’t have hot flashes, but I do get exhausted more easily these days. I can overheat when working out at the gym. My heart begins to beat faster and anxiety sneaks in. My emotions have been running high.
To handle all this I focus on the CBT training I’ve had. It helps me keep everything under control. Less anxiety helps keep my heart rate down and body heat starts to lower as well. I’m hat talking any extra meditations. I do use more natural vitamins to keep my Vite. D level at a good level. Same for magnesium and potassium..

I need a regular nap during the day now and have been holding on to Lamotrogine although reluctant to take it just in case my melt downs get out of control as sensory overload can be an issue when I am not in the right neuro-environment which causes seizures. Eating as clean as possible and plenty of brain friendly herbal teas are good. And sleep yes...lots of lazy bed days when I can 😉
