@A MyEpilepsyTeam Member Briviact is a sub version of Keppra which is well known for also causing the violent outbursts in children. So, It's most likely due to that. You will have to speak to the GP.

@A MyEpilepsyTeam Member , I found this on Google https://www.briviact.com/side-effects . It suggests you contact the doctor if the person starts experiencing a certain list of side effects & that’s in the link above. On Google it says that Briviact can cause mood swings, anger issues, etc. It sounds like it’s similar to Keppra but they’re not exactly alike but very similar. So Wednesday, contact his doctor or Nurse & let them know what’s going on. In 2019 I was on Keppra for 2 months & it made me so tired that I had to take a nap every day & eventually I started having trouble sleeping & so I got off it. If you & your son don’t like the side effects of a medication, don’t hesitate to talk to his doctor & see if another medication might be better. Good luck. Welcome to the site! Your friend in Texas, Becky

Please give son & self a break bout meds sides. How it's controlling seizures most important. Realize advice given here may not even pertain to son or his type of epilepsy. Ease mind best by consulting with Dr who knows son best. Keep in mind meds change things to avoid the seizures give son's mind time it needs to adjust them. I'm sure you'd never screw around with meds by advice of others.
