Depression and Epilepsy: What’s the Connection? Read Article...
A MyEpilepsyTeam Member

The definition of depression has a couple definitions. I know when people are talking about being depressed the first thing that is thought of is a time of sadness. When defined in medical terminology the definition of depression is something disconnecting you from regular actions and activity of your everyday life. The way Epilepsy connects with depression is other than the short period of time when having seizures
disconnecting you from regular actions and activity of life. It may also do so for a longer period of time learning new activity and actions to adjust life into one interacting living of life.
