It's dif per person, I had my condition since 7, I don't know if you stop a seizure from happening, I wasn't aware of what I was going through or what I had, but after the years of the test and meds and dif docs etc, I have them happen time to time, but with my current condition and my current doc I think that I am ok now with where my condition is, I think that it is more stable than it was before in the past, I didn't know what I had, but I myself do my own self diagnosis after I see my doc, I do go by her advice and such, but then do a little of mine and am ok with that, but I don't know if you stop them from happening, more controlled and stable ye, but I don't know about stopping them, my mom had seizures also, she quit taking her meds and then her seizures quit happening, I wouldn't suggest doing that, not without your doc or medical personal and their recommendation and such, but that is my opinion here
