Does Anyone With The Memory Problems (like Me) That Can Remember Some Things (both Short Term And Long Term)? I Can Remember A Lot Of Thing.
I have always had a sketchy long-term memory. I started having seizures 4 years ago at age 39, and it has affected my long and short-term memory.
I feel like every time I have an episode, I lose a few more old memories.
I think it's mostly affected my ability to remember old faces, new names, directions to places, and other small things. But I think I still easily remember important things and stuff I find interesting.
I'm still trying to figure out how to restart work in a new field having to remember things with brain issues. Not giving up hope, though.
Wishing you all the best, friend! ❤️
Thanks!
Thanks!
Yes, I think that is dif per person, I think that my mem is not what it was when I was diagnosed and younger, but I say my mem is a 1 on the 3 scale being the best, I am ok with that though, taking into consideration my current condition and age the meds etc, Im ok with that in my life with, my opinion
It may be effected if your seizures occur where your memory is stored in the brain. I had the mapping surgery in 01 to see where my senses were as well as my memory. Having a brain tumor removed caused some memory and emotional problems for me. Mapping surgery helped me some but not enough.
I Have The Feeling I Lost My Past,i Can't Remember Almost Nothing? Are There People Here Who Are Having This Too?
How Bad Or Good Is Your Memory After Having Some Hard Seizures?
