There's nothing that I know of that repairs it as of now. Alot of the study is around limiting the spread of brain damage, trying to stop it and developing better ways to care for these cases.

In terms of specially any "Food" that repairs brain damage, I'm not sure. There is lots of studies to do with natural foods and how they can help the brain there is a AED out now that is based on natural properties but at the moment this is only used to control seizure not repair brain damage.
So yeah as of now no but down the track maybe.

Foods high in omega-3 fatty acids are excellent for patients with a TBI. It helps rebuild the brain, especially for patients with brain injuries. High omega-3 fatty acids foods include fish and flaxseed oil. Fish high in Omega 3 include salmon, mackerel, and sardines.

I wouldn't dismiss the brain food though. It may seem odd, but that's only because the western world is accustomed to eating just about everything else. The health benefits have been thoroughly researched and proven, and they can be cooked like anything else: fried, boiled, sauteed, baked, etc. It's no different than cooking any other meat in that regard.

Well, research is still ongoing, but it is supposedly promising that rosemary tea helps improve overall brain health and sharpen memory. I've never tried it myself, because I love hibiscus.
