Sometimes I don’t remember and people ask me questions and I can’t even speak. Or I say the wrong year or the wrong president. And sometimes I’m ok. It’s very frustrating.

It's dif per person, I don't have the mem i used to when I was diagnosed and I am ok with though, considering the cause of it, my mem is ok for what it's gone through, I remember some stuff, but then again I don't, but I guess I'd say I give myself a 1 on the 3 scale being the best, like I said, not bad in my opinion considering the condition what it has been through, not complaining about it, so hang in there and try and stay pos, my opinion here

After having a grand mal you never remember what happened, I have a horrible migraine and need meds for that and after sleeping for a while your brain is fuzzy but it slowly clears and bits and pieces start coming back. I always find it weird when I wake up in the ER. They ask me if I know where I am and as many times as this has happened I say ER. I don't remember coming there but I recognize the place. More questions and some I can answer some I can't. I ask for my hubby so they bring him in from the waiting room. He should have been with me all along. They said they were breakthrough seizures. Put me on an iv drip of med. They give me a shot for my migraine and one for nausea. I am back to sleep. They wake me up to tell ne they are moving me to a room. I get to the floor and get a nurse asking a billion questions. My hubby answers a lot of them. Told I will get an eeg in the morning. I go back to sleep. Find out I had 2 seizures in public and someone called an ambulance. Hubby said everyone was very worried about me and wanted to help. Luckily my breakthrough seizures have gone way done. 1 last fall and 1 summer that's it for last year. Nothing this year. So with my meds my brain is behaving!!!! Personally I'm on cloud 9 about that!!!

I never remember things after I have a seizure myself. I've had 3 surgeries and I can still have a break through seizure. Stay positive. You are not alone.
