I Have Depression And Anxiety Too. I Find It Difficult To Deal With And Meds Don’t Help Much. Does Anyone Else Have This Experience?
I have found that my medication has messed with my brain I now have more anxiety and I feel angery most of the time. This is no way to live and every time my doctor changes my meds or changes the dosage these feelings do not go away🤷♀️. Sorry to say I am getting fed up with this, the only positive take away is that I am finally getting fewer seizures 🙃
I think the meds would be more effective if I had a team of doctors working together: epileptologist, psychiatrist, general practitioner, gynecologist (hormones do factor in to seizures believe it or not ladies). As it stands they use the Epic System and can see what the other writes in notes but they don’t routinely take time to consult with each other. I have experienced this approach at Mayo but I can’t afford to do that now.
Yes, I have depression and anxiety and social anxiety ad well...if I'm somewhere and there are too many people in the room, my anxiety kicks in and a seizure will shortly follow...
It could be a side effect from the seizure medications you are taking.
