Any1 Who Takes Excopri, Has It Affected You In Any Way?

I've commented on my Dr. putting me on that med a while back and how things have been better. Thing I curious about is if any1 here takes and goes through tiredness.
It seems like as I do chores after taking it doesn't seem long before I'm wore out. Not that it stops me for day, long enough for a nap though.
Or could it be I'm not as young anymore.

Shunted I was at a main Epileotic unit, I was off all my other med but Xcopri. They tested me for memory problems. I went to Memory clinic . The doctor just got her neurology license. She noted that I was having sz in front of her. I thought I was drowsy. She organized me to have an EEG for 3 days. They noted I had drop seizures, sleep seizures and a group of seizures when I called office could not talk and make sense. I minor status attack! She insisted on MRI and discussed w/ Epileptologist additional med call Briviac. The 2 Drs. Discussed implant were seizure location deep in brain. I really am grateful for her help! I wish you the best!

Hi, everyone it's been a while, but yeah I take Xcopri for over a yr. And most days I'm tired. I take it @ 1pm and my other 2 med @ 9am then 9pm those 2 are Vimpat and Lamotrigine. Yes I don't think most neurologist know much when it comes to seizures medication. As I speak with others I sometimes see similar issues. And it's almost ridiculous trying to explain to doctor some understand & ask questions we have to teach this world cause it's us who have similar condition that's can relate. Take care everyone thanks for sharing

I'm on xcopri and it makes me so tired all day and very low energy. If I'm awake more than 4hrs it drains mee, I have to take a nap during day otherwise body feels wants collapse later in day. I've also found out I'm anemic again and haven't been for years. I'm also losing weight and my neurologist says that my xcopri and clobazam aren't medication that would cause Weight loss, so suggested something else maybe going on. Now after blood work having several other tests and.xrays done. Xcopri fatigue is no fun at all. But I rather take fatigue than my increased seizures, as it has helped a little .

My son started Xcopri and stopped his. He had since birth and he is now 20! I started it and titrated to 100 mg now. I don’t know if I need to be on that much but I do feel more settled. No seizures.

Your right on that. Never drank that much or often. As I've got older in my thirties I stopped drinking.
Certain times I might have a drink, that's about once a year though.
