@A MyEpilepsyTeam Member you'll have issues but please don't feel embarrassed, it's life. Fatigue may often be attributed to the meds. If you feel fatigued all the time, check w/ your doc to make sure your levels are not high or not reacting to another med.

Someone posted a comment about fear in regards to epilepsy. I don't fear in my life. I have Epilepsy. Big deal. I had for 58 years and have a pretty good life and married 29 years. So far. I have my funeral arrangements and service set up. Nothing like looking ahead to the future. Life Science is an organization that will study my body and get some scientific knowledge out of it. And cremate it. We had so much setting up our music and laughing and a few tears. about it Christina and I. Music from the wedding. Take care all . ericthom3

I am 56 yrs old today and I didn't start having seizures until I was 48, so my worst feat I'd tgst I'm going to have these side effects for the rest of my life, im going ro always feel this fatigued and I never know when a seizure is going to come on so I could be in public or at home..I've had seizures while out in public and I was so embarrassed too so naturally I have a deep fear of having more seizures whole out in public...

To think about it, I have no fears about epilepsy starting when I was 52. Mom told me that when I was born that the hospital sent me home, back in 1961, on the day I was born without washing me. Mom washed me and put me down and thought to herself that if I were to die I am going to die clean. With the health problems, and 3 death experiences before age 4, and still here I was meant to be here for some reason no matter what.

I know what the side effects of my meds are. For the most part, I am grateful for the support of my wife Christina. She puts up with so much, but that's part of being married !!! She is the best and I love her so much. eric thom3
