Do You Mind Being In A Hospital, And If You Do Go Are You Ok With Staying If They Are Going To Keep You,

A MyEpilepsyTeam Member asked a question 💭

I myself don't like to stay, but If need be and it's for my well being, I don't mind really, I have a few times that has happened, like the pneumonia I had and was kept for about a week or 10 days, I was just 11 years old I think, but didn't bother me staying in the hospital, what are your thoughts about the? Here.

I dislike hospital bed they are not as good also hospital food is terrible and every time you get to sleep and they come in and check your vitals

Combined with the fact I hardly ever end up in hospital plus the fact hospitals are only getting worse and worse in Aus I would rather not end up in there.

I don’t mind It’s just hard to wake up from being unconscious and not knowing what happened and wondering how long I’ve been in there❣️ It’s also a little scary due to not remembering anything of why I’m there❣️

Depends on how long they want a person in the hospital and what for..

The handful of times I've been in the hospital hasn't been too bad. They did the testing and/or surgery and let me go in a day or 2. This last time, with my stroke, the 1st day was good since they were running tests, etc. This was the 1st time I,ve eer had a virtual nurse in addition to real, live ones. She would show up on the tv screen and try to talk to me. I told her I have aphasia and couldn't understand a word she was saying, but kept on talking and allegedly asking questions.
