I sleep right thru the night and have seizures while asleep. The way I usually know I had seizures when asleep is wake up with a lil nip on my tongue from lip smacking during seizure.

Seizures do evolve over time
I'm living proof of that,

Over the years I've had several at night, but most are during the day

When I first started having them, they were all nocturnal. The first few months was almost exactly at 3 AM-per my watch and they would wake me up. But as @A MyEpilepsyTeam Member has said, they are continuously evolving. Now I can pretty much have anything at anytime

When I first came down with Epilepsy, whenever I had a seizure, it made me extremely tired and had migraine headaches. If I was asleep I would wake up with migraine headaches. Also, did and still do, have a lil nip on the side of my tongue from lip smacking from during seizure. Don't have migraines any more but still do occasionally get those slight nips. I have complex partial seizures which are focal. Also, I did have 2 lobectomies, after the 2nd lobectomy is when I stopped having migraines and tired. There are many different types of seizures that react in many different ways. Wish you the best to take care šŸ‘.
