After waking up fully at 4am from nightly nocturnal seizures I was awake but could not move my left side and upper body from the waste up, including neck. I knew something was wrong, my partner was full asleep. I couldn't wake them fully to get up. 8 am they woke up. I was still awake and not able to move told them what was happening. We tried to stand me up.... and I fell over. Still no use of body waste up. We called the ambulance we all considered I may had broken my neck during a seizure. I… read more

yes and no... and heres why... yes Todd's Paralysis is a freezing type recovery time from a partial seizure... it last around 3-48 hours (1/2 hour to 2 days). but heres where it goes off track. the effects of Todd's Paralysis is all the right or all the left side of your body.
if you have Todd's Paralysis, i have (or had) um too. before the surgery, when i recovered from a complex partial or a tc, my arm will stiffen and will not come loose for 5-20 minutes. i do not have Todd's Paralysis.
it is a good read... the Todd's Paralysis is a real dude. robert todd... a dr from 1809–1860. all that this guy has is after a seizure, you get this paralysis that lasted him a couple of hours. that is it. it is ongoing and changing all the time. excample... some drs say 1 part is affected... some say all your left or all the right are affected. some drs say you are exhausted... but others are not effected (has no feeling... just are stiff).
you could have it... but you may not (depending on the dr). there is no cure. the bad part about this is... it mimic a stroke. and dr will rx the wrong thing.
